TradingView is the industry standard for charting. Free version is enough for most beginners. Here's how to set it up.

Setting Up Your First Chart

  1. Go to tradingview.com → "Chart"
  2. Search "BTCUSDT" in the top bar → select "BTCUSDT (Binance)"
  3. Click "Indicators" → search "RSI" → click to add
  4. Click "Indicators" → search "MACD" → add
  5. Right-click the chart → "Scale" → "Logarithmic" (recommended for crypto)

Must-Have Indicators for Crypto

RSI (Relative Strength Index)

Shows overbought (>70) and oversold (<30) conditions. Don't use alone — combine with trend analysis.

MACD

Trend-following indicator. MACD crossover is a classic buy/sell signal.

Bollinger Bands

Shows volatility. Price touching the upper band = potentially overbought.
